Event Description:
How does culture and identity shape the way we experience mental health? How does our mental health respond to systems of oppression? How do we reconcile wellness, resiliency, and resistance?

Join Speak2Swatties, ARCS, and SGO during CIA week for a storytelling and dialogue event addressing the mental health realities of cultural difference, internalized oppression, and the ways in which we respond to them. Come listen to a diverse panel of students and faculty members (Nina Harris (WRC Advisor), Maurice Eldridge '61, Laura Chen '19, George Abraham '17, and Jasmine Jimenez '19, Kat Galvis Rodriguez '17) share their stories and perspectives, then participate in small group dialogues to share your own experiences and reflections. Food will be provided from Pinocchio's Restaurant!
