Event Description:

Join the Peace and Conflict Studies and Environmental Studies programs for a workshop led by Prof. Randall Amster, author of Peace Ecology.

Randall Amster teaches and publishes on subjects including peace/nonviolence, homelessness/poverty, social/environmental movements, and political theory. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Contemporary Justice Review, and writes for a wide range of popular and scholarly publications. Current research interests include environmental peacebuilding, climate justice, intersectionality and ecology, community and sustainability, and the nexus of social and environmental justice. On campus, he works with groups exploring spheres including urban studies, climate change, the Anthropocene, and curricular development. Dr. Amster currently serves as core faculty Program on Justice and Peace at Georgetown University.
