"Fixing the Future" Documentary Film Screening

Event Description:
Award-winning journalist David Brancaccio will screen his PBS film "Fixing the Future," which highlights people and organizations that are attempting a revolution -- the reinvention of the American economy. The film shows effective, local practices such as local business alliances, community banking, time banking, worker cooperatives, and local currencies.

The documentary also features Swarthmore students who built a garden with residents of a housing community in Chester. The Chester Community Garden Project is a collaborative effort between residents of the Ruth L. Bennett Homes and the Lang Center for Civic and Social Responsibility.
