PROMOTING A DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE

 For Faculty Chairs and Staff Supervisors

 

Nearly every college faces the challenges associated with substance abuse in the workplace. This seminar addresses the impact of workplace substance abuse, the signs and symptoms of drug use, and the faculty chair’s/staff supervisor’s role in communicating and enforcing College policy. The presenter will review the process for initiating a supervisor/mandatory referral to Carebridge Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and highlight the key role Human Resources and the EAP provides in supporting supervisors to promote a drug free workplace.
