Screening: American Winter
Start Date: 2/12/2015Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Date: 2/12/2015

Event Description:
Please join us for a special film screening of American Winter in Carpenter Library Room 21 at Bryn Mawr College.

There will be a reception with refreshments at 6:30 p.m. in the Quita Woodward Room and a Q&A after the screening with guest speaker Harry Gantz, co-director of American Winter.

This is a documentary feature film that follows the personal stories of eight families struggling in the wake of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. The film presents an intimate snapshot of the state of the economy as it is playing out in the lives of American families, and highlights the human impact of budget cuts to social services, a shrinking middle class, and the fracturing of the American Dream.
