End Date: 2/16/2015End Time: 4:30 PM

Event Description:
What was the black aesthetic then (1969) and what is it now (2015)? Come join me for the first feature screening of my film, "Black Bodies Unmasked: Defining the Black Aesthetic at Swarthmore." This project is part of Black Liberation Course 1969 with Professor Allison Dorsey.
Excerpt about the piece~~
In January of 1969, the peaceful demonstration of black students in Parrish Hall symbolized the black community solidifying their stance towards the administration. Despite their differences, black students were united by one central cause and rallied side by side.
