Open Orchestra Rehearsal with Victoria Bond

Event Description
Internationally renowned conductor and composer Victoria Bond leads an open rehearsal with the Swarthmore College Orchestra. The orchestra will rehearse Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" (orchestrated by Maurice Ravel), Golijov's "Night of the Flying Horses," and Haydn's Symphony no. 44. The rehearsal is free and open to the public, who are free to attend all or part of the rehearsal. This event is sponsored by the Department of Music and Dance.
