McCabe Exhibition: Celebrating Bayard Rustin

Event Description
Bayard Rustin (1912-1987), practitioner of nonviolence, political theorist, adviser to Martin Luther King, Jr. and organizer of the 1963 March on Washington for civil rights, will be celebrated in an exhibit in McCabe Library. The Swarthmore College Peace Collection will exhibit original documents, photographs, and sound recordings illustrating the life and work of this extraordinary American. (The exhibition will also be open on Saturday and Sunday.)
