Faculty Lecture Tour of the Crum Woods

Event Description
Jose-Luis Machado, associate professor of biology and Crum Woods Stewardship Committee member, will lead a tour of the Crum Woods, speaking about his teaching and student research there as well as the plants, wildlife, and ecology of the area. The Crum Woods encompass 220 acres of mostly forested land straddling the Crum Creek. Note: sections of this tour will cover rough, uneven, wooded terrain. Sturdy shoes and long pants are recommended. The tour will depart from the Scott Amphitheater.
