Event Description
In 1971 a small group of African-American students at Swarthmore gathered ‘round pianos all over campus to sing God's praises, an activity that provided refuge and solace in troubled times. In the words of one of its founding members, the ensemble is dedicated to "speaking in ways that words alone could not." The student choir and Alumni Gospel Choir will celebrate 40 years of fellowship and solidarity with a joint concert. |
